Nanseera is a Nashville/Atlanta-based singer-songwriter with an old soul and a distinctive style. The mixed-race, London-born performer grew up in Uganda and Ethiopia, moving to the United States for high school and college, during which she spent a semester in France. All her travels and adjustments bring a nuanced worldview into her music. Taking inspiration from artists like Tracy Chapman, Lianne LaHavas, and Sheryl Crow, she weaves together poetic stories of losing home, love, and sense of self, then somehow finding them again. Nanseera released her debut album American Odyssey on January 1st of 2022 and followed it up with a deluxe edition featuring her song Greensboro (Bonus Track). Nanseera has performed for audiences on three continents and recently completed her first tour "The Colours Tour" and is preparing to release her single “Colours” this summer.
