Known for his collaborations in rap and g-funk, rapper H Bomb was initially discovered by Eric B. of Eric. B. & Rakim in 1994. Around that time, H left Toronto to work on new music with Eric B. at Power Play Studios in Queens, New York. H would later turn down a recording deal with Set It Off Records in 1995 due to a neighborhood conflict. H later relocated to Los Angeles, reconnecting with Eric B. and taking on discussions with Death Row East. In 1996, H ended up doing a licensing deal with German record producer Frank Farian (Boney M., Millie Vanilli) for his full length studio album "Narcissism". The album’s collaborative single with Roger Troutman "Playaz Need No Love" later turned out to be a hit on radio stations throughout the west coast. The single’s remixes were also played on heavy rotation throughout Japan and Europe. Notably around this time, H had also connected with rapper Ice-T who invited him to perform as one of the acts on Ice-T’s "Players Tour". In 2009, H Bomb would resurface alongside Kool Keith on the collaborative album entitled "Seventh Veil". The album featured a star-studded list of featured artists and was produced by Chilly Chill of the west coast group Lench Mob. Bridging the gap between rap and funk, H Bomb has collaborated with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, Flavor Flav, Kurupt, Roscoe, Coolio, Domino, Kool Keith, Rick James, Bootsy Collins, Roger Troutman, Ike Turner, Godmama, Sugarfoot of the Ohio Players and more.
