Kene Himself is an artist who was born and raised in Port Harcourt Nigeria. He grew up in a world of musical diversity, His parents being strong music aficionados, he started rapping at the age of eleven although he never took it serious or thought to hone his skills. Inspired and influenced by artists like @SwizzBeatz, Dr Dre & @Timbaland, He started composing instrumentals in 2003, a skill which he is well known for among his circle. Kene Himself is what you'd get when @G-Eazy, @BurnaBoy, @Timbaland and @PostMalone have a baby. He is a rapper that has been influenced by elements of various genres like AfroPop, R&B and EDM. Even though his sound is definitely a fusion of these genres, it is in a manner which doesn't necessarily conform to them.
