The voice of Sony/Relativity artist Barracuda, singer/songwriter PATRICK PULVER has music running through his veins and it is made quite clear looking back on his long prestigious career. PATRICK first started singing and playing guitar at age 9, following in the family tradition of so many professional musicians before him. He made his recording debut at age 16 signing to an independent label in Chicago “Those early years of recording were a huge education for me. We recorded on this old Otari 1 inch 8 track tape machine. It was a very exciting time in my life, and I remember thinking to myself, my god this is how the Beatles did it.” As fate would have it, he soon became the voice and bass guitarist of Sony/Relativity recording artist BARRACUDA. His first big break came at the age of 23 when he met Jim Scully of CBS records. Scully hooked PULVER up with famed producer and manager Bob Monaco who had produced Rufus and Chaka Kahn as well as Three Dog Night. This series of meetings and friendships ultimately lead to the success of BARRACUDA and ultimately his solo career as well touring and gaining accolades from both fans and critics alike. Releasing their first cd "Open Fire" in 1989, followed later by their second release "Unacceptable Practices", PATRICK PULVER and BARRACUDA continue to perform today.
