Fish Magic is a project led by singer and guitarist Mário Quinderé. He formed Dead Poets in the 1990s, one of many guitar bands associated with brazilian indie label midsummer madness, among other groups like The Cigarettes and Pelvs. After more than 10 years away from the music scene, Mário came back in 2015 with Fish Magic and released Songs from the Night Shift, co-produded by Regis Damasceno from Cidadão Instigado with special guest Bárbara Eugênia. In 2016, the second album Sky High came out, this time with special guest Laura Lavieri on the single Landscape in the Mist. The third album Just a Light Away was released in April 2019. An EP (“Stillness”) came out in July 2020 and the new album “Kamakura” was released on August 2022.
