Growing up in Austin TX. I listened to what ever music my mother had on the radio. So I've grown to groups and artists such as Gerald Leveret, Boys 2 Men, Temptations, Michael Jackson and The Jackson Five just to name a few. As I grew older I started listening to the music my older brothers listened to mostly being local artists groups such as S.U.C, Scarface, Willie D, and U.G.K. I remember the first rap song I fell in love with which was a U.G.K tracks of the Riding' Dirty album. "One day you’re here then the next day you’re gone," Talk about foreshadow. Even though I love to sing ever since I can remember and picked up a few notes on a violin in middle school, I didn't start rapping until the seventh grade. I remember being on the football team at Pearce Middle School and for two years straight on the way to the game someone would start up a beat and I would begin to freestyle and after when won the game we would always end with the John Madden 2000 song when Ludacris did his thing. We were the champions both years. Coming up in the R&B house hold being my mother’s choice of music the merging over the hip-hop I made sure that I listened to any and every artist I would find. I've became infatuated with the with the subject matter, word play, the sound and feeling that music gives people. I also enjoy the way music and create a means of escape or give a since of enlightenment.
