JJSalsoso (1979) was the classic boy immersed in the cinema of the 80's, who drew strange worlds and imaginary creatures before he was 5. Passionate about science fiction, video cameras of the time, movie soundtracks, playing with his small Casio PT-87 keyboard and having adventures with his friends, very much like “Stranger Things”. It was inevitable that he specialized in Film Production and Advertising and graduated in Audiovisual Communication. Today he is an independent filmmaker and runs his own company, Salsoso Stories, focused mainly on advertising. Multifaceted, he is creative, illustrator, cameraman, editor, broadcaster/dubber and also a music composer. His music is fundamentally “soundtrack” with various genres (epic / space / drama / adventures), instrumental and very lyrical, inspired by great composers such as James Horner, John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Zimmer, Morricone, John Barry, etc. although it has more cosmopolitan and electronic themes, darker, floating and evocative, even synthwave. After more than 20 years composing music for images, he released his first album "TIMELESS" which brings together some of his most remarkable tracks. In December 2023 he releases his second album as a composer, "DUALITY", with 14 new songs that alternate his particular cinematographic style music with synthwave themes with eighties and nineties features, an album made for nostalgic people and lovers of good cinema from the 80s.
