Future Conditional is the sleek, Anglo-French electro-pop project from Glen Johnson and Cédric Pin, both formerly of "ghostrock" group, Piano Magic. Drawing inspiration from classic analog synth-pop by the likes of New Order, Kraftwerk, OMD and Section 25, their 2007 debut album, 'We Don't Just Disappear,' updated the retro-futurist mix with a stellar selection of guest vocalists, including Melanie Pain (Nouvelle Vague), Bobby Wratten (Lightning In A Twilight Hour/Field Mice/Trembling Blue Stars), Angèle David-Guillou (Klima/Piano Magic), Carolyn Allen (The Wake) and Dan Matz (Windsor for the Derby). Fifteen years later, the follow-up, 'Isotech,' again featuring Wratten, Beth Arzy, Mücha (amongst others), was described as "closer to flawless than anything I've heard in a long time" by Electronic Sound magazine.
