With an aggressive bravado over soulful instrumentals, the hip-hop artist SOUTHSIDE VIZZY creates his own lane to deliver his art. Growing up in Nashville, TN, VIZZY started writing and recording music as a teenager and released a few songs and mixtapes independently. Once he graduated high school, he attended Middle Tennessee State University to major in songwriting. During his time in college, he also started to release music professionally under the name Vizzy Santana. In 2019, after taking some months away from music, SOUTHSIDE VIZZY rebranded. He then released his first official single Minute Maid and in 2020, announced that he was working on his debut project. His debut project WAITING FOR TOMORROW was released on May 12th of 2021. VIZZY stated that his goal with his brand is always to stay true to himself and deliver music that encourages and motivates people.
