North Carolina born, Swiffababy (b.k.a. Swift), is poised to propel to the top of the music game. His fusion of quick-witted raps and soulful melodies first spawned his smash hit “Pull Up.” “I have a certain way of making music, I started off rapping and hardcore boom bap, where I am from that is what we do. I bring a piece of hip-hop and soul into the commercialism of music now,” explains Swift. The Atlanta transplant by way of Durham, North Carolina saw local success in his hometown as a part of groups. It wasn’t until Swift relocated to Atlanta and embarked on a solo career that he was able to build his own fanbase. Swift’s unique blend of old school hip-hop with a new school spin helped to separate him from other Atlanta artists.
