Brought into being in the year 2002: and having undergone several changes since then, Maglor is helmed and led by Draendil, Luthien, and Beren Tol Galen. Each individual adding their own creative sound and style - giving unique life to Maglor. June 9th, 2012 saw the release of Maglor's debut LP; "Call of the Forest" The album was well received and numerous solid reviews emerged - mainly via various metal webzines and online sources. Due to much travelling, relocating and studio upgrading - as well as members focusing on other music related; and non-music related projects...Maglor dwelt within shadows for a handful of years. Both Luthien and Beren released the debut album "Solitude" on July 12th, 2015 - for their classical, darkwave project: Galathilion. Beren has also released several albums over the years under the banners of Eldensky, and Heliacal: pagan folk metal and experimental ambient electronic projects, respectively. Draendil also has a solo project of the same name, as well as emerging developments in coding and indie game design. Finally, after years of silence Maglor released their second full length album "Asunder" on July 17th, 2017 - in both digital and physical formats. The album was written and recorded over a period of several years, as the sounds sought were slowly brought together and formed what is heard throughout "Asunder." The road goes ever on....
