“Jeremiah Emmanuel” Baker is a Jesus Christ follower from the south. Most of his childhood he was around music and creatives. At an early age is where he found a love for creating music. With his limited resources he still found a way to work on this God given gift. He started writing at 9 years old. That turned into, performing at school talent shows, and a couple events. While going under his name at first as a secular artist, jaythakiddofficial. He started growing a major following and influence on instagram in the late 2010’s. But seeping into deep depression, suicidal thoughts, and a couple near death experiences he finally came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in 2019. Since then he took a break from creating music, focused on his walk with Jesus. Then with a fresh fire, and the Holy Spirit, started to make Christian Rap under his first and middle name “Jeremiah Emmanuel” so that people who aren’t saved can hear about Jesus. And even multiple edifying songs for the body of Christ, while creating from his own experiences and walk in Christ. Dealing with problems like, healing from molestation, heartbreak, suicide, abuse, lust, pride, guilt, sin, etc. Jeremiah challenges himself to meet the expectations he’s set for himself in creating music for the near future. Expectations of rawness, vulnerability, great quality, and most importantly a heart of worship to Jesus.
