Nest is the collaborative project of Otto Totland and Huw Roberts (Hidden Rivers). The two met as former members of Miasmah - a Berlin based record label run by Erik K Skodvin. Both share a passion and love for deep, introspective instrumental music and both are able piano players. Strange though it may seem, the two have never met in person. Their music is the result of a collaboration made possible by file-sharing, a kind of digital duet. Their album Retold is widely considered a classic (and early example) of the modern classical / ambient genre. This was later revised and re-released as a special edition on CD & Vinyl; Retold: Expanded Edition.
