Cedric Scheibel is a pianist, DJ and electronic live act from Germany. After learning to play piano in his early childhood he has quickly developed his individual style, focusing primarily on composition and improvisation rather than the sheer replication of sheet notes. This combinative approach deemed ultimately responsible for several of his first appearances in the Stuttgart area. Over the years, Scheibel aligned himself with a variety of worldwide venues, with renowned companies among his regular clients. Inspired by the present zeitgeist, his recent album “Klangfantasien” blends emotive play and his signature style into eight characterful compositions and creatively combines them into a sophisticated whole. In early 2020, he launched a new electronic live set project in which he set out to merge the classiness of the piano with the zeitgeist of electronic music. When the global covid-19 pandemic put a sudden stop to his live performances, he readjusted his focus on producing. On his journey through the different genres of electronic music he found his prevailing home in melodic techno and downtempo.
