Born Ty Mencio in Waterbury, CT. FreezeMartian began his career on the mic at the age of 15 — gaining attention for his lyrics filled with macabre imagery, violence, and personal conflict. Influenced by horror films —and the emerging sounds from the gritty subgenres of the underground Hip-Hop scene —Freeze released his first album "Red SNoW" in 2007, on the Detroit, MI-based label Long Range Distribution —owned and operated by former Eminem manager Marc Kempf. The album gained a small cult-like following on the underground, selling thousands of physical CDs at shows, local music stores, and the online 'Horrorcore’ community –followed up by the more personal 2nd album "The Righteous Path" in 2009. Both releases would solidify Freeze as a rising force in the hardcore hip-hop market. Playing shows all over North America —and a recurring act at Insane Clown Posse’s annual Gathering of The Juggalos. Since then, Freeze has released numerous full-length LPs and several E.Ps from 2014 present. Including the Red Snow follow-up Red Snow 2. With a release date of October 2024 for the anticipated finale Red Snow 3. Freeze is also a member of the side project group Beyond Top Secret and UFO (Unlimited Future Objective).
