Annemieke is a singer from the Netherlands. She comes from a musical family and her grandmother taught her how to sing according to classical standards. Over the years Annemieke developed her vocal abilities in a variety of styles and genres. She participated in different projects, from pop concerts and musical theatre to rock/metal and big band performances. At the Royal Conservatory in The Hague she studied a minor jazz singing, which inspired her to add a sense of freedom and boldness to her singing. Annemieke finds satisfaction in giving a colourful touch to the music and has a drive to keep on exploring new musical challenges.
