After releasing urban anthems Rush (1998) and London, Lets ‘Ave Yer! (1999), Mark Tyler co-produced over 50 releases for 15 different labels and DJ'd worldwide. In the late 90's, he managed the labels of Liberator DJ's and Jon The Dentist and wrote the Acid Techno column in Wax Magazine and Techno/Hard House reviews in weekly industry magazine, 7. He went on to launch seminal record label No Entry in 2000, notching up 14 releases by 2003, with multiple plays on Radio 1 by the legendary DJ, John Peel. Mark played his final DJ gig in Cairns, Australia in December 2003, whilst backpacking around the world. 20 years later, Mark's music remain relative, helping define a golden age of UK techno where the innocence of free parties met radical changes in musical technology. An era free of social media and auto-cue DJ'ing, where heroes became colleagues and British Airways threatened handcuffing for bad behaviour. For everyone discovering the music now, we thank you.
