Cornell Knight was born July 21, 1989 in Chicago, IL, USA. Raised in Chicago, Cornell first started releasing records in 2002. He first started free-styling and recording himself along with his friends on a friend’s XBOX 360. A couple years later he began recording music on an old stereo system over his Dad’s cassette tapes, later advancing to record in professional recording studios. In 2005, while in BGF (a label formed by him, his dad “Cornell Sims” and younger brother “Dominique Sims” owned by Cornell Sims) he recorded his first single “That’s Me”. He appeared on numerous records by his close friends, The Coalition.. Drawing on his dad’s withdrawal from the expedition, Cornell aspired to set up his own BGF imprint. His debut set, “The Pain Album", released February 2019, attracted fans with a mixture of hard-hitting, inspiring lyrics and rhymes, epitomized by the collaboration with Teddy B on “All She Want” along with his singles “Anything 4 My Fam” and “Keep It Real” . Although in demand as a guest artist, Diesel DotCom found the time to write, produce, and direct many other music projects. In attempt to bridge the gap between the street corner and the Christian church, Diesel DotCom has been working on his next album- “Dark Side”. Despite a hectic schedule as a producer/writer and rapper, Diesel DotCom still found the time to be a full time parent to his daughter, Kayla Knight, while also supporting his son, Brendan Knight (who lives with his mom in Chicago).
