Tanner Paul is a disruptive new Alt-Pop artist captivating the ears and eyes of the masses with his debut single, “Spaced Out” released in late 2020. Tanner’s forward-thinking lyrics & heavy hitting sound brings new meaning, soul and undeniable energy to the West Coast music scene. Tanner’s musical journey began, guitar in hand, at the age of 9. Over the years, he has since dedicated his life in service to music, spending countless hours consumed by the guitar and combing through libraries of books on music theory. In early 2012, shortly after high-school, Tanner became a founding member of popular Southern California Reggae Rock group, Special Blend. In his time with Special Blend, Tanner regularly played national tours alongside legendary bands and artists such as Kottonmouth Kings, Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, Method Man and many more. When Tanner and Special Blend weren’t touring the country, they played at major festivals like Blaze N Glory and headlined shows at the House of Blues. Although Special Blend had made their mark on the Reggae Rock world, Tanner’s curiosity soon outgrew the genre and pushed him to explore new and exciting avenues. Tanner has always had a passion for the innovation of the electronic world smashing together with the organic delivery of analog instruments. With heavy influence from Gorillaz, Glass Animals, Flume and many more he decided to branch out on his own and debut into the Alt-Pop world with his new solo project, Tanner Paul.
