First approaches to djing and producing where in Venezuela at the age of 20, but Franz's decision to pursue music as a career came somewhat late due to a distressing and challenging migration process that took him away from his studio, instruments, and loved ones, for some years. After settling in Bologna (Italy) he gradually started getting the gear and the time for making music again and the thriving musical community of this city encouraged him to undertake the project of Franz Fraiz, the moniker is an homage to his new Italian friends who preferred to call him like this, friends which also helped him established and find the joy of making music again. Franz is inspired by dreamy aesthetics & hipnotic grooves, he completely believes in music & dancing as an uplifting & cathartic experience.
