DwanyeBaba is a rising Hip-Hop/Rap artist who began his journey as a music producer. Born and raised in Selma, Alabama, he was nurtured by his mother and two older sisters in a humble, Christian household. In 2019, Baba transferred to the University of North Alabama, where he met like-minded individuals and co-founded the collective Bold Bloom. In 2023, Baba and Bold Bloom had the honor of opening for the UNA Spring Concert, sharing the stage with Yung Gravy. That September, Baba released a 7-track EP titled “About Time.” Committed to artistic growth, Baba aims to deepen his connection with fans and make a lasting impact through his distinctive sound and heartfelt lyrics.
