“I’m Jbro and my hope is that you feel something from my music. I think my music makes you want to dance and gets you in a good mood. My lyrics are simple melodies that a small child could remember. I want to speak about my experiences while also making catchy songs that people can dance too. I grew up in the inner city & we moved a lot so I really have seen it all when it comes to living situations like jumping from school to school and having a diverse group of friends. My mom always use to call me a chameleon. She use to say I was great at adapting. She played a lot of Gospel, Contemporary R&B & a little Hip Hop when I was growing up. I only heard Pop music on the radio. But when pop came on I use to love it. Jason Mraz, Michael Jackson, 21 Pilots, even New Kids On The Block. I loved everything. I could listen to Wooh Da Kid or Miley Cyrus depending on my mood for that day. 
 So my sound comes from my mom. She allowed me to experience things and be free within those experiences to get a full understanding of life. I’m diverse & my music is too.
