Darryl Walters II, known professionally as Combz, is an American rapper and songwriter from Columbus, Ohio. Combz’ name was derived from kids at school teasing him, saying that he resembled the light brown, crazy-haired mascot for the Honeycombs cereal. The name stuck and was eventually shortened to Combz. 
 He began writing music in 2003, however he officially started recording in 2010. His first project See You In Hell was released in 2011. His other projects include: Angel in Distress (2012), Whoreson (2013), Christ (2015), I Can’t Sleep So I Stay Up (2016), Ain’t No Sunshine (2017), Hoodrich Grandpa (2018), Bellamy (2019), Darryl (2020), Gospel (2021), Thug Music (2021). 
 Combz’ has cited 2Pac, Eminem, MF Doom, Redman, Young Jeezy, Big L, Biggie Smalls, Lil Wayne, Nas, Jay-Z, along with his father, grandfather, and other local Columbus rappers as his influences.
