Y!KES are an alternative rock duo who draw upon a vast array of sounds & influences from Birmingham U.K. Alongside making themselves a known presence online they've been tearing up the live circuit, selling out headline shows & making appearances at festivals such as Turbulence & Hard Rock Hell, as well as opening for acts such as VUKOVI, Hands Off Gretel, COUNTERFEIT. and Demob Happy The band released a wave of self produced EP's in their first year spawning staple tracks such as Hold On To Your Grudge, Step Away & Long Gone Silver. The third EP 'Lostalgia', was produced with Geoff Rickly whose credits include 'Bullets' by My Chemical Romance. The band have gone on to release the acclaimed tune 'God Mode' followed up by singles 'Iron Deficiency' 'Not Everything. Not Yet', GZUS & Royal Penny. Fresh out the studio with Jim Pinder (Bring Me The Horizon, Sleep Token), they played a string of sold out tours supporting Salem & As December Falls before taking a break from the live circuit to focus on writing and recording. Following the departure of the bassist and drummer, the band became a duo with a vision to release a wave of new music throughout 2024. They released the singles LOVEHATETIME and UCOPIA, which will be followed by their third release as a duo 'Higher Than The Sun' being released on Friday the 26th of July.
