The Jacksonville, FL raccoon based slamming deathgrind quartet "Trash Panda" have made it their mission to saturate their particular brand of death metal all over the florida extreme music scene. They began by unleashing a flurry of riffs with their 2021 debut EP "Valley of Junk". Inspired by bands like Pig Destroyer, Cattle Decapitation, and Devourment, "Trash Panda" blend a unique concoction of influences into a fury of rabid, nightmarish and often hilarious musical imagery all involving raccoons. After self releasing their debut EP in September, Trash Panda signed with Brutal Mind/Fat Tub of Lard Records to release their first LP "Pawns of the Putrid God" which came out in November of 2022. In addition to featuring guest spots from artists like C.J. McMahon and Larry Wang, this album also expanded upon the lore, imagery, and concept in an exponential way. After touring in early 2023 and 2024 the band continue to build their discography with the addition of 2 new singles "Discarded and Forgotten" and "Baring Teeth" featured on their 2024 EP "Devour Their Scraps"
