A "soundtrack artist", that is what people have said about Elias Ringquist. Inspired by his love of movies and New York, Elias wants listeners to explore his world of cinematic R&B/Pop, combining catchy urban yet commercial music with acoustic piano soul. Also known as Shy, Elias is a Swedish singer, songwriter, producer and pianist who started out as an actor in well-known films and TV series - such as “The Best Intentions” (Palme d'Or winner) Elias has performed both on and offstage with various artists, while also producing music for others. The national Swedish Radio station P3 picked up the song "Wu Girls" from his debut album "4 CLUBS AND HEARTS" when he was chosen as Artist of the Month. During this time Elias also competed as 1 out of 16 finalists on Swedish American IDOL. In 2022 a new album by Elias was released. Entitled “Themes” it marked new ground as it was his first instrumental project, showcasing a more cinematic side as a composer. November 2023 Elias presents his new single “COPENHAGEN/OSLO” which is a retrospective and upbeat tribute to traveling.
