Originally born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, Smitty! is a Brooklyn based artist and producer. He started his career as a guitarist, and after moving up north he gained invaluable experience as a versatile producer, and audio engineer. He is constantly creating for himself, and close collaborators such as partner witSmusic. In 2020 released their debut EP Chops & Memos and they have been releasing music every since. Their recent album Eat Your Food was released in early March 2022 and was picked up and reviewed to critical acclaim on Pitchfork.
