About The Fright: With a passion for horror movies and influenced by his older brother with punk rock, Lon founded The Fright in the area around Jena in 2002 when he was only 13 years old. Starting with horror punk, the band's current musical direction is now significantly more metallic, dark, and heavy. Or as Lon Fright puts it: "Our sound has changed, it sounds a bit more ponderous and bulky, yet still includes many pop elements and catchy melodies. Like lava rock from which a flower emerges." After several tours across Europe, including acts with 69 Eyes, Unzucht, Ewigheim, as well as Blitzkid, and numerous gigs with Lacrimas Profundere, Hardcore Superstar and six albums later, the independently recorded single 'Dark' marked the beginning of six more releases to come this year.
