"I'm a firm believer of the Laws of Attraction. It can be that the good we do, it is given back to us in ways we least expect. I never knew how energy worked so I centered myself... over time and grounded my energy, protected it and found ways to express myself. I am an eccentric person (as said expressed by friends). I think music gave me a voice that I didn't know I had. I love a good vibe. I wanted music to tell a story - I share random memories and those are my stories other people can relate to. I will say that for a while, I let my 'broken pieces' hold me hostage. But I had to escape that mindset. I let music be a healer for me. We didn't have much growing up and it was mad-unstable. Myself, my eldest sister and my mom made due though and look at how the universe turned things around. The Invitation is about a spiritual warfare. You can take a lot from that track and apply it to your life too. My message in that song is how I didn't appreciate life for what it was. I was an entitled little shit in my teen years but I also knew better 'cause my mom didn't teach us to have a selfish heart. - so that was something I wrote and made into a story. It's short but living through that time in my life seemed like forever. I had to break that train of thought and get some perspective. And so... the rest of my music, past and present, serves the same purpose. I make cool and catchy tunes but like it's some real shit happening in those verses and the hooks."
