Kaan Akay's Human Scum project began in the year 2014 as a weekly radio show that focused on ambient and drone music and that continued for three years. In 2022, he returned with his debut album "Deceitful" as a solo music project. The artist, who also played the drums for various projects and bands, has also been making Drum & Bass shows for various radio channels since 2003 under the alias Golem.
