Joe Wilson is the London based composer, songwriter and one half of recording artist Solomon Grey. On 17th September 2021 Wilson will release his debut record, his soundtrack to the second series of hit TV show Back To Life, released on FAR / eOne Recordings. The soundtrack to Back To Life 2 sees Wilson take a more exploratory approach to his composing through heavily processing field recordings and found sounds working them into the score. These experimental tones form the bed of the music underling a predominately electronic score performed on vintage synths including a prized CS-80. Wilson’s distinct vocals are also found on the Back To Life 2 soundtrack under recording artist moniker BESS, a new collaboration with producer Third Son. Their mourning cover of Linda Perhacs ‘Hey, Who Really Care’s? being a standout on the soundtrack.
