RODNEYAHMAD is an R&B artist whose sound is blurred between R&B and Hip-Hop & Rap all while his songwriting dwells in lustful relations along with the boast of having ‘player ways’, toxicity, and a carefree attitude with the likes of Brent Faiyaz. Born in Roanoke, VA in 1999, RODNEYAHMAD started writing songs when he heard Drake’s Over record for the first time. He fell even more in love with music while researching and studying older artist that he grew up listening to. He grew up listening to 2000’s R&B and late 90’s Rap. His favorite artist are Musiq Soulchild, D’Angelo, Nas, Notorious B.I.G., and Jay Z. He released his first single “A Little Interlude” in late December of 2020 and his debut EP “Hold Me Accountable” on June 4th of 2021. His second EP “Been Meaning To Say” dropped January 17th of 2022. He doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon as he plans on dropping more singles until his 3rd EP drops titled “Fa$t” at the start of 2024.
