Giorgio Alessani was born in Rome, a family with four brothers, all united around the same passion: music. Influenced by classical music, like the Italian Opera and Russian composers of the 20th century, he began learning the piano at the age of 8, and attended concerts at the Rome Opera. Despite this, Giorgio is instinctively drawn to Jazz, in particular to drummers like Billy Cobham, Tony Williams or Peter Erskine. With other students from the conservatory, he started a first jazz group and together took up jazz standards. At 22, for love, Giorgio decides to move in Paris. Very quickly, he started solo recording his first songs, and played in particular at the Casino of Divonne-les-Bains. After many concerts, the project to make a new album is set up, contacts with André Ceccarelli, Diego Imbert and Jean Gobinet follow. In 2018, the rhythm part of the new album, "KISSED BY THE MIST", was recorded in September, followed by the orchestra's recording (Star Pop Orchestra) and arrangements by Jean Gobinet. In 2020 during the pandemic period, Giorgio spent a lot of time to composed new songs, searching for new inspirations, new melodies and fresh sounds with which to channel his thoughts and emotions. He decided to record a new album called " THE MESS WE LEAVE BEHIND". Its release is scheduled for March 2, with Anne Sila, André Ceccarelli, Cédric Hanriot, M-Carolos et Juanjo Mosalini.
