JYT is the mastermind behind productions for artists like MAFFI, Hans Väkevä, and THRILLV. Hailing from Helsinki, JYT possesses remarkable versatility, crafting captivating experiences across a multitude of genres. With an impressive range that encompasses pop, house, and hip-hop, JYT effortlessly blends elements to create unique sonic escapades. Influenced by the likes of Trentemøller, Max Martin, and Panic! At The Disco, JYT's productions showcase the different flavors he's grown accustomed to over the years: massive electronic soundscapes flawlessly merge with groovy rhythms, while his lyrics often gaze to the heyday of alternative rock. More organic elements are inserted via his siblings' work in classical music. The producer's debut album Forever already showcased his bag of tricks, with more on display on follow-up releases like Cry Baby and the instrumental EP Platine. JYT is also a seasoned (though now retired) DJ and has released a string of house tracks as Julius Ylitalo on Big Mama's House Records, among other labels.
