Producer, Composer, Remixer, Dj Vector Space Records /StrippedMuzikClub/Minus/Detour Musique/Voodoo&Prayers Carlos started his musical journey as a DJ in 1998, playing sets at secret gigs. Driven by his success in independent music circles, his rise as a DJ continued with bookings at clubs in Mexico City including Rioma, AM, Bar Fly, Cream, Cafeina, Noite Club, Elite, Dreams, Distrito Club Condesa, F3.0, La Terraza Zocalo and Bleu Club – and even at festivals, bringing his musical substance and atmosphere to the festivals’ aesthetics and style. Having turned to record production, 2010 saw his first release on the ‘We Are Here’ record label, owned by renowned producer Tini Tun. Carlos has now extended his musical career as a producer, with releases on Minus, In4mation Records, Stripped, Light Digital and Voodoo & Prayers. His music has been supported by the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Sandra Collins and more. As well as achieving success with his original productions, Carlos put together an unofficial remix of the massive track, ‘Ask Yourself’ by Plastikman (Richie Hawtin), which was promptly signed to Minus after the label manager reached out. The remix was released on his record label, being included on ‘Bootleg BOX SET (2011)’, ‘PLASTIKMAN Arkives 1993-2010′ and the label’s digital platforms.
