Birmingham-born Hip-Hop/R&B artist & producer, Kyo Waves started out making music and writing material around early 2006. Using platforms such as DatPiff & HotNewHipHop to put out mixtapes recorded from his bedroom with a desktop microphone. His American Hip-Hop & R&B influences have allowed him to be very different on the UK scene from what others would consider to be a UK or Birmingham sound. Kyo is currently the founder and creative director of BADVIBESONLY®, as well as the CEO of BVO® RECORDS which was established in 2023.
