Meet Justino-Giovanni Di Salvo, or 613tino, Italian-Canadian music luminary. The Ottawa-bred engineer, producer, and rap artist who's carved his unique path through the Canadian music scene. Growing up in Orleans, Ottawa, his journey started at 11 with beatboxing and rapping, progressing to self-recording at 12. At 14, his big brother introduced him to a studio, AGM records, marking the birth of his musical endeavours. Justino's turbulent teen years included bouncing between 10 high schools, facing legal woes at 16, moving out independently, and a hospitalization for bipolar disorder at 18. His musical journey continued at 21, attending the esteemed Metalworks Institute (Toronto, Ontario) alongside many industry talents. Recording tracks for himself and other new artists, without a specific album in mind, he honed his craft. After a few internships in Toronto, Tino returned to his hometown, and immersed himself in recording and engineering, working with over 150 artists since 2019, amassing mixing/production credits with the likes of Wyclef Jean, Krayzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, M.O.P., DRAM, Killah Preist, Mopreme Shakur, Houssein Fatal of The Outlawz, Nate Husser, Young Tory, Jelleestone (OVO), Keith Ape, Charmaine, Robin Banks, Lil Berete, Pvrex, Devontée, The Aspects, Lia Kloud, Thevfterpvrty, City Fidelia, Eeshii The Free (and many more!). Recording studios like The Cave, Audio Valley, Real Studio, and Hidden Gem became his creative hubs.
