OR The duo began when two young men went through their own personal journey in the world of music, debuting in France in the early 90’s. Whilst Olivier was stepping into to the dj scenes and making his marks in the electronic music world, Roland was improving his instrumentalist crafts whether that would be with a guitar piano or percussions - mostly influenced by funk music. Highly dedicated about music the music industry, they both developed their talents playing at many music events including festivals, clubs, concerts and radio stations alongside great names and artists from the electronic music scene. In the 2000, a pivotal moment for OR, they moved to London where they got to meet. In the competitive world of London’s music they earned the right to perform regular gigs at some the most prestigious London venues. Inevitably the two members of what will soon become “OR” made their entry in the world of music production, alongside their djing activities by releasing many projects under their own names, whilst also performing as DJs - more than often in the same events. Most recently they decided to embark in a new musical journey with “OR” breaking barriers between music genres, in other words they aimed to combine their music knowledge, musical influences and background to form “OR”.
