Born just outside of Long Beach Ca, the Oakland residing producer focuses on sample-heavy, warm- textured beats which provide an emphasis on evocative, and often abstract worldbuilding. Inspired by producers such as Madlib, Knxwledge, and The Alchemist, Versâam likes to add their own stylistic swing - occasionally adding rich vocal samples to support his sonic environment. Searching for new sounds, or spending time in nature for inspiration, Versâam has collaborated with artists whose genres range from r&b to jazz to hardcore hip-hop.
