Hendriks' career began as lead singer, songwriter and guitarist with The Stiffs (formed in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1977). Their singles "Inside Out", "Volume Control" and "Goodbye My Love" between 1979 and 1981 were all played extensively on the radio, earning them the status of 'radio hits'. Phil was touring guitarist with Les McKeown's Bay City Rollers from 2011 to 2021, performing tours in countries including Japan, Canada, Australia. He also performed as a session musician at the 2015 & 2016 Bay City Rollers "reunion" shows. As a producer and musician, Hendriks has recorded with artists including Alan Merrill (of The Arrows), Graham Oliver (ex Saxon) & the late Overend Watts (of Mott The Hoople). Phil added post-production to Overend Watts's posthumous 2017 album "He's Real Gone". In July 2020, Phil released his solo album - "Radio Calling", spawning the radio hits "Radio Blaring out from a Burning Car", "Even the Smart Ones Are Dumb", "Love Me Always" & "Radio Calling S.O.S.". In May 2021, Phil collaborated with David Philp of the Automatics, Neil Frost and Billy Brown as "Uk Collective" to record the single "Daylight Robbery". In Summer 2021 Phil's non-album single "King of Hearts" topped former Radio One DJ Mike Read's "Heritage Chart", while the follow-up single "Silently" achieved the same feat in Jan. 2022. Meanwhile, Phil has been touring as guitarist with Merrill Osmond. Phil's latest single - "Colour My World Blue" - was released on 18th Apr. 2022.
