Detroit-based hip-hop artist Nebr, The Tiger exemplifies what is means to be an original. Nebr spent his early years as an artist developing his rapping abilities and releasing several mixtapes for free under a different moniker. After beginning work with local electronic music producers Truman Nolan and NEWSENSEi in early 2016, Nebr worked to create a new, cutting edge style of alternative electronic hip-hop. The re- imagination of the young MCs sound inspired work on his debut album as Nebr, The Tiger, Insight. With collaborations with Bleep Bloop and NEWSENSEi already out on Alpha Pup records and 40 Oz Collective respectively, and performances at Low End Theory, Beta Nightclub, and more under his belt, the future is bright for one of The Motor City’s most exciting young MCs.
