Sydney "$YMMONE" Green was born May 4th, 2003 to parents Stephanie Snowden & Steven Green. Birthplace Inglewood Ca, early years grew up in Playa del Rey as well as Inglewood attending schools such as Paseo del Rey Elementary, Orville Wright Middle School, Y.O.U Continuation and WestChester High School. During those times of early livelihood, $ymmone played instruments such as: guitar in Kindergarten-Middle School, which led to being able to play violin in the orchestra. During 7th Grade, $ymmone enrolled in an after school program that specializes in making beats and learning how to use Logic Pro. That was the beginning of her music career. She wrote her own music, produced her own beats and worked with a Grammy-nominated producer as the engineer. After that the school put on a show and the class making music was able to get the whole school to come out and see them. $ymmone found her calling growing up focusing on school and basketball only, not thinking much of the experience she did in that class. She gets to high school & one day after school she decides to go to her cousin Uknokenny’s house where they record their first song together “GURLYFACE”. That was also $ymmone’s first officially uploaded song. From that day forward she continued to record at Kenny’s house and take her craft seriously which led to where we are today.
