Nate Roze has quietly helped define the sound and feel of late 2010s to early 2020s rap, combining ethereal, hypnotic elements into surrealistic trap with a distinctly pop appeal. Raised in the Eastside of Atlanta, Roze (born Nathan Everette Givens in 1998) first made noise as a producer working with countless artists around the Atlanta underground scene. After years of production he dropped his debut mixtape, Euphoria Theory in 2019. He went on to bring his gothic ethereal sound to DIE EGO, Neef, Dono, and Z-Moo, while his own solo tape series “The Gift” is started. He eventually in 2021 would drop his next mixtape “The Life Before Andromeda” where you see a step up in vocal performance, lyrical appeal and hypnotic sound. With songs like “Bad Boyz” , “Club Atlantis”, “Fireworks”, and “Kamikaze”. In the next year he drops two mixtapes one being with his group of contemporaries “CLOUD 40 Presents: W.W.F” and the next addition of his gift series “The Gift II” where we see a place of being and vulnerable side of him being a testament to his vision with songs like “Soulo”, “Jaeger”, “Practice” and “Keep Me Out”. He would do it again on 2023s WWF Deluxe as he brings Neef, Kenarri, DollabillKalil, Tron Don, Derkskii and more into the fold.
