Brett D, a rising artist from Edison, NJ grew up in a calm and collected environment. Always fascinated by towns outside of Edison, especially ones that were far away, Brett was known to always explore and get to know different places, which led him to start traveling internationally. Being a standout musician, his style of music is lyrical hip hop. Putting heavy emphasis on his  lyrics, he likes to connect with his fans and provide a story through his music. He always wants his listeners to feel the emotions of his music, creating tracks that make people laugh, cry and think. Beat-wise, Brett D can pretty much rap on any beats, whether it's boom bap, lo fi, or trap. Rapping and recording since the year 2010, the progression and growth for Brett has been immense. He released two mixtapes, one in 2014 titled “The Campaign” and the other in 2017 titled “Back to Basics”. He then released his debut album "The Sauce" in 2021. Creating music directly in line with his life, these mixtapes represent the life Brett D was living. These mixtapes also opened up Brett’s music to a multitude of new fans as well.
