Born in San Fransisco, California. Red Lotus was raised by a single mother and lived in 28 different cities before the age of 18. Most of which consisted of Vallejo, CA & Los Angeles, CA With the many influences of various cities he took an unconventional approach to music and decided to do every genre. Which birthed the music duo Good People. Good People was a major band and making great waves in the bay area being played on Wild 94.9, winning California Battle of the Bands, becoming sponsored by Jack Daniels, and rated #1 Alternative Band in the Bay Area. In October 2021, the two decided they would end the band musically and focus on solo careers. Since then, Red Lotus has been primarily focussed on building his solo catalog of music and highlighting other alternative artists in The Bay Area. As mentioned in his Music Matters interview “There aren’t many of us” Red Lotus has been strong advocate in promoting a different sound for the bay area and began what’s known as Good People Collective - A team of local alternative artists. The team has become self sustainable and said they will remain independent artists for as long as possible.
