Drawing inspiration from the serene surroundings of Edwyn Collins’ Clashnarrow Studio and working again with longtime collaborator and studio wizard Sean Read (Dexys/Manic Street Preachers/The Rockingbirds), the Hanging Stars have crafted an album of blissed out magic. Disparate yet harmonically connected songs echo the themes of love, longing and the hunger for the days of yore, set to the sound of what can only be described as balearic baggy country.
