Oscar Stewart III (OS3) is a young producer from the Athens area. For a lot of producers, making projects on their own isn’t usually a reality until later on in their careers if ever, but for OS3 that is not that case. Similar to the likings of a Metro Boomin, the producer is the main artist, beatmaker, and conceptualizer. His combination of hard-hitting, wavy sound with thought provoking concepts, is hard to find especially in an up and coming producer at this age. He’s worked with the likes of Gracious, Mr Moseby, & Shine, just to name a few. OS3’s production can be viewed as the foundation, and the artists are working literally and metaphorically to put the project together. His first project was a collaboration project with Gracious called ‘Why Not Us ?’ was surrounded with the theme of social media clout at the time. And how it leaves others that feel they work harder saying 'why not us'. His latest project called ‘Progress’ was released March 6th. The progress as a whole represents growth as a person, producer, and an artist overall. Since then, OS3 has released singles ‘Too Exclusive’ and ‘Cough Drop’ in preparation for his latest project and sequel ‘Progress II’. 2020 took a mental toll on everyone and the way it has affected OS3 is still to be found out. He’s made strides this past year to showcase his growth as an artist and a producer. Showing improvement in quality and concepts, in a genre where those attributes where those tangibles are harder to find.
