Daniel Rutherford, known by his stage name H.D.R., is a talented musician and rapper hailing from Dunlap, TN. His love for music began at an early age, and he started recording his own music with his best friend Gorgy when they were just 12 years old. 
 Despite facing significant adversity at the end of their senior year of high school, when H.D.R. was sentenced to 6 years in prison, he did not let his passion for music wane. He continued to write music during his time in prison while Gorgy pushed forward with their music career. 
 Upon H.D.R.'s release, the duo reunited and formed "THE LAP," and their music has been gaining traction ever since. H.D.R.'s music is heavily influenced by the sounds of his hometown, as well as local groups such as the Valley Boys and Tennessee natives like Don Trip and Starlito.
