Born in Chicago, Nanette has always been surrounded by music. Growing up with a mother from a singing background and a father with an eclectic music collection, with artist such as Phyllis Hyman, Stylistics, Earth, Wind & Fire, has inspired Nanette musically. Nanette began singing with her mother at church, weddings, and different events at an early age. 
 As a teenager, Nanette sang with a girl group and they performed at events including the “March of Dimes” where she performed “The National Anthem” that was broadcasted on the news. The group lasted briefly, then Nanette started recording and writing her own songs. 
 Nanette begin to be a feature artist on rappers songs including Fendi Frost, Trudell and Jordan Caesar. 
 Nanette released her two singles “For You” and “Company” in February 2022, followed by the release of her first EP “A Bad Love Story” (March 2022). 
 Nanette released her next two singles “Know You.” and “Bitch.” from her first album “Feelz.” that was released in September 2022. 
 Nanette’s influences throughout the years have been vocalist like Patti LaBelle, Whitney Houston, Toni Braxton, Gladys Knight, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé and Jazmine Sullivan. 
 Nanette has always had a passion for writing, whether it was story telling, poetry, or songs. 
 Charismatic, captivating, intriguing, unapologetic, authentic and true to herself, Nanette is constantly creating music based on everyday life experiences relating to diverse crowds.
