Born Sept 13th in Roseland, IL, on the southside of Chicago. Music was an outlet to express his inner feelings and personal experience. Growing up in that environment was tough and humbling, but it was instilled in him that family, support, and love would help get you through any difficult chapters in life. da Truth learned to be a leader, not a follower, and to always follow his heart in each decision. He took time off to support his family but was always writing and wanting to get his music out. With the support of the family, he decided to start his own label to give and be a role model to others to never give up on your dreams. His musical influences are notorious b.i.g, DMX & Tupac. My dream and hope is that my music will resonate and connect with fans!! Music is supposed to be empowering and motivating.
